Feeling Claritin Clear ~ Product Review

I recently signed up to do a review for Children's Claritin, because Royce was diagnosed with common indoor/outdoor allergies and was prescribed Zyrtec (this was back in the day when you needed to pick it up from the pharmacy) before he was even a year old. I was/am never good about continuing giving him medication for this, and really hoped he'd grow out of it. However, as the years have gone by (all too quickly, I might add.); he's continued to have allergy symptoms, so I give him some allergy meds when he really seems to need something. Over the last few weeks, before school was out, I had him try the Children’s Claritin; first, I gave him the grape flavored chewable tabs. When he returned home from school, I asked him how he felt it worked. With a shrug he replied, "My nose wasn't running all the time, so I didn't have to keep asking to get up to get a tissue all day, so that was good." I also noticed that I didn't have to ask him as often to go blow his nose on those days, so I was happy as well. The next week I tried giving him the liquid Children's Claritin, which is grape flavored as well. When I asked him what he liked better the chewable or the liquid Royce replied, "The liquid. It's not so chalky tasting in my mouth." Other then that the chewable worked as well as the liquid, but Royce preferred the liquid. I'm still not big on handing out the meds, but in Royce's case they did seem to help him out, and he didn't complain about the taste, so overall it was a good experience for both of us.

Could I be a CoverGirl?

Recently I’ve been selected to try out a couple of Cover Girl products from the new natureluxe collection. It was nice to try a foundation that color didn’t turn my face an orange color, or that seemed to make my skin look pasty even though I have an extremely light skin tone. I also have to say that like it promised the product was light weight, and didn’t feel as if I just caked on a load of make-up one of the reason’s I don’t wear make-up all that often. Another reason I don’t ware much make-up, especially foundations, is that I have some patches of dry skin that usually becomes more enhanced when I do ware foundation; unfortunately, this make-up didn’t hide it either. An added bonus is that it is SPF 10 for when I spend time out in the sun this summer, like at Royce’s baseball games, because I do tend to burn easily, so I’m hoping this will give me some protection, rather than lathering my face with sun block.

The second product I was sent to me to try was a lip-gloss balm, in the color tulip. I love it! It’s my perfect shade of pink that puts a bit of a glisten on my lips, and it still looks natural,. I was so happy to try this lip balm because I am a Chap Stick fanatic, and I also love lip-glosses that help keep my lips feeling moist (as they are often chapped or dry), so I use them daily. This one so far is right up there with being my favorite lip balms because it’s one that I’ve tried that hasn’t make my lips feel sticky. Plus, like the foundation, it has SPF 15 sun protection right in it. I defiantly would recommend this lip balm to friends and family, especially my nieces that are just starting into the make-up phases because they are so light, and natural looking.
